One day, my mother and I said goodbye and went on a trip. I walked, walked
and walked far and far. I went to a place with a waterfall. It was so beautiful
there! I was fascinated by the scenery there, where the picturesque scenery,
luxuriant trees, is really beautiful. I stayed here quietly for a day.

I walked along again and came to a wide and wide river. I saw the clear
water in the river. In the end, there were small fish, shrimps, crabs, starfish,
seaweed and luminous fish...... I spent the night here again.

In the morning, I walked on, walked and walked, go to a beautiful place
than anywhere in the world, there are many small animal many, really like a big
zoo, I saw there are birds, deer, geese, squirrels, rabbits and monkeys fox,
lions and tigers, we play together was really happy ah!

The second day, I started walking, walking about 10 kilometers, to the
playground, there are a lot of good play, a Ferris wheel, swing, seesaw,
horizontal bar, parallel bars, slide, pony, jumping bed, bumper cars, water
guns, water ring and boat...... I played there for a long time and said, "its
fun. Its fun."!"

I set off for home, and when I got home, I told my mother about it, but my
mother smiled.

This is the dream in my heart! I hope there will be flowers, grass, small
animals for company in our home, an amusement park public square for us to rest
and play, and if my dreams can come true, that would be great!

We can see such signs as “No Smoking” in some public places, which is a
kind of measure taken to ban smoking in public places. However, concerning about
this measures, different people hold divergent opinions. The smokers protest
against that it is a kind of action to deprive of their free right, while the
non-smokers are in favor of banning smoking in public places.

In my opinion, I am inclined to support the latter one—smoking should be
banned in public places. There are reasons accounting for my point. For one
thing, people will be harmed by the second-hand smoking if someone smokes in
public places, especially the infants and children. For another, banning smoking
in public places is also beneficial to the smokers. If they are banned to smoke
in public places, they will restrain themselves from smoking and smoke less. In
the meantime, it is a contribution to reduce the air pollution.

Therefore, I advocate that smoking in public places should be banned so
that we can breathe the fresh air and suffer less from the second-hand smoking.
Let’s work together to create and sustain out green and fresh environment.

I like reading in my free time. Ive read all kinds of books which are
written by many famous writers from all over the world. But I like a Chinese
writer best. His name is Xu Zimo.

Xu Zimo was born in a big family. His parents were good at writing and his
father taught little Xu by himself. When Xu Zimo was very young, he was
interested in reading. Fables, stories or novels were his favorites and he often
nearly forgot eating and sleeping.

When Xu was about six years old, he began to write some short stories. He
was always practising writing and he did better and better. But he still kept on
reading, because he always believed that “Reading makes a full man, a ready man
and an exact man.”

When he grew up, his life dream came true. He became a world-famous writer.
Not only Chinese but also people from other countries worshiped Xu Zimo. His
writing was enjoyed by all the people. Everybody thought that Xus works were so
nice and great. From his writing, people can understand a lot. I have learnt
that if someone wants to be a great person, he must work hard!

Now, lets enjoy one of Xus verses:

better. Furthermore, smile can eliminate angry. As a philosopher said, smile
before you begin to get angry. The last but not the least, it reflects calm of a
person when he is in danger or in trouble.

The beneficial aspects cannot be stated completely in this passage. But you
can understand its power when you smile.

history. Animals have been killed for their fur and feathers， for food， for
sport， and simply because they were in the way. Thousands of kinds of animals

today. About 170 kinds in the United States aloneare considered in danger.

Why should people care? Because we need animals， and because once they are
gone， there will never be any more.Animals are more than just beautiful or
interesting. They are more than just a source of food. Every animal has its
place in the balance of nature. Destroying one kind of animal can create many
problems. For example， when farmers killed large numbers of hawks， the farmers
stores of corn and grain were destroyed by rats and mice. Why? Because hawks eat
rats and mice， with no hawks to keep down their numbers， the rats and mice
multiplied quickly.

Luckily， some people are working to help save the animals. Some groups
raise money to let people know about the problem. And they try to get the
governments to pass laws protecting animals in danger. Quite a few countries
have passed laws. These laws forbid the killing of any animal or planton the
danger list. Slowly， the number of some animals in danger is growing.
